About the Role
The Company is seeking an Associate Managing Director (AMD) to join their team. The AMD will be a key partner to the President, leading the firm in the identification, recruitment, and placement of senior-level talent within the nonprofit sector. This role is pivotal in driving business growth, acquiring new clients, and expanding existing relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle of retained search engagements, from strategic planning to execution, and will play a significant part in maintaining the company's reputation as a trusted leader in the nonprofit recruitment sector. The AMD will also be involved in team leadership, fostering a high-performance culture, and contributing to the innovation of search methodology and client service. Candidates for the AMD position should have a deep commitment to the mission of the company and its clients, with a proven track record in executive search or talent advisory, particularly within the nonprofit sector. The role requires strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills, as well as the ability to work autonomously and lead inclusively. The ideal candidate will be decisive, resourceful, and possess an entrepreneurial spirit, with the confidence to drive business development and ensure the profitability of the business. A minimum of 5-7 years' experience in executive search, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, is essential, along with a history of success in client acquisition, relationship management, and search delivery.
