The Anti-Money Laundering Analyst will conduct investigative research and support customer and entity due diligence activities involving potential compliance, reputational, sanctions, and financial crime risks. This position requires strong research, analytical, and documentation skills, with an emphasis on identifying relevant risk information, validating findings, documenting conclusions, and escalating matters requiring additional review.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct customer and entity due diligence reviews.
  • Perform open-source intelligence (OSINT) and investigative research.
  • Research adverse media, public records, corporate records, and regulatory information.
  • Utilize commercial research databases and publicly available sources to support due diligence activities.

  • Validate potential matches using multiple identifying data points.
  • Clearly document investigative findings, conclusions, and supporting evidence.
  • Escalate higher-risk or potentially concerning findings for additional review.
  • Manage assigned cases in accordance with established quality and productivity expectations.
  • Provide additional investigative research support as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2-3+ years of experience in due diligence, KYC, compliance, investigative research, corporate intelligence, AML, financial crime, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting OSINT and database research.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and written documentation skills.
  • Ability to evaluate potentially relevant risk information and distinguish legitimate findings from false positives.
  • Ability to manage multiple assigned cases while maintaining accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced investigative or compliance environment is preferred.
  • AML/KYC or broader financial crime experience is a plus.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

  • Tier 2: $45-49/hour
  • Tier 3: $50-54/hour
  • Temporary/Contract opportunity
  • Hybrid schedule
  • Must be available to work standard Central Time (CT) business hours
